The Archery competition during the Paris Olympics in 2024 will commence on July 25, featuring individual and team ranking rounds for both male and female archers. The ranking rounds are conducted to determine the seedings for the knockout rounds.
64 men and 64 women archers will compete in the ranking rounds. The results from the ranking rounds will not only determine the seedings for the men’s and women’s individual events, but also for the 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams that have qualified for the Olympics. India has secured slots in both events.
Points earned by the top-placed male and female archers in the ranking round will be combined to determine the standing for mixed team events. The top 16 mixed teams will advance to the knockout stage in the Olympics.
The women’s ranking round will start at 1 PM IST. The men’s round is scheduled for 5:45 PM IST. The Knock-out rounds will be played between July 28th and August 4th.
