Paris Olympics: Manu- Sarabjot Clinch Bronze, Manu Achieves Unique Feat

Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh secured India’s second medal at the Paris Olympics, claiming a bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the National Shooting Center in Châteauroux.

Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won the bronze medal play-off against the Korean duo of Oh Ye Jin and Lee Won Ho. The Indian pair conceded the first series but quickly took an 8-2 lead winning the subsequent four series. The Koreans attempted a comeback, but the Indians maintained their composure to secure the bronze.

Before the bronze medal play-off, Manu and Sarabjot had secured the 3rd position in the qualification round with a total score of 580. Manu scored 291 points, and Sarabjot registered 289. The other Indian duo, Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Cheema finished in 10th place with a score of 576.
